54 years ago, April 11 1970, the Black Panther Party hosted a “People’s Free Festival” in San Francisco’s Fillmore to provide free activities for the community. There were children’s games like “Pop the Pig,” art exhibitions, film screenings, local bands and “Free Food for Days”
